Are there more marriages this year than usual? This is what two years of pandemic delays and many more engagements in that time will do. If you have a lot of wedding invitations on your calendar but need help deciding what to wear, don’t worry! I have rounded up a few options to suit a range of dress codes. Look below at some stylish wedding guest gowns that will work for any occasion, whether it’s formal or casual.

Beach

Weddings on the beach or in tropical locations require extra attention to the weather. You will likely be outdoors, dealing with heat and humidity. You may have to deal with heat, humidity, and breeze outside. A fitted or flowy style skirt is best. It would help if you also looked for lightweight fabrics like linen.

You can go right with MISA if you go to a beach wedding this summer. This romantic ruffled gown with a bohemian floral print in pink and yellow caught my eye. This dress will look stunning on a breezy beach.

Rails Maeve Dress In Navy Lilac Gingham

You can opt-out at any time. You agree to our Terms and Conditions by signing up for the newsletter.

This gingham print midi dress would be perfect for a beach wedding. Pair this navy dress with espadrilles, a woven bag, and a nautical style. The dress is made of seersucker fabric, making it lightweight and comfortable to wear no matter how hot the weather.

Casual

Regarding weddings, “casual” is not a sign that flip-flops and jeans are in. I’d recommend a jumpsuit, sundress, or a nice shirt and full midi-skirt.

Hutch Zora Jumpsuit

Jumpsuits are an excellent choice for weddings with a relaxed dress code. Hutch’s jumpsuit is a great choice for a wedding with a casual dress code. It has contrasting colors and comfortable wide-leg trousers that will keep you moving on the dancefloor.

VICI Collection Floral Long Sleeve Chiffon Babydoll Dress

The short floral print dress is perfect for a daytime or casual wedding. This VICI Collection dress features a retro floral print in a flattering fit and flare style.

Cocktail

Cocktail attire for wedding guests is standard but can be tricky. If you don’t want to wear a ballgown, you can opt for a knee-length dress or midi-length dress, or even a suit. Accessorize it with heels and elegant jewelry.

Milly Atalie 3D Lace Dress

This Milly A-line dress is a perfect choice for cocktail attire. This dress comes in Milly Pink with floral lace appliques and a flattering hemline.

House of Aama Louise Strapless dress with bustier & ties

This floral-print midi dress in a 50s style from House of Aama will be perfect for those who love a retro silhouette. Cocktail attire is often associated with dark colors and tight dresses. This dress fits the dress code but stands out from the usual attire.

Here, a floor-length dress is a way to go. If you need inspiration, look for jewel tones or metallic shades. A silk dress is also a great choice.

Beginning Boutique Maybelle Champagne Formal Maxi Dress

Beginning Boutique has a variety of dresses that are perfect for a formal wedding. I love this champagne-hued maxi dress with its cowl neckline and slip side.

Galvan London Sienna Dress In Coral

A simple slip dress with a halter neckline is a great choice. This Galvan London dress, I think, is stunning, particularly in the coral color, but is also available in black and mint.
